The Course Assistant – Assistants to Infancy Course

Kristina Yang is a graduate of the AMI Primary Training and AMI Assistants to Infancy Training from the Montessori Training Centre of BC. She is a certified Infant Massage Instructor and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Economics from the University of British Columbia. Kristina has worked as a primary guide, Assistant to Infancy in a Montessori Parent-Infant Program and as the Course Assistant for The Montessori Assistants to Infancy Teacher Training Program since June 2015.

The Administrator

Kyla Williams joined the Montessori Training Centre of BC in 2006 where she worked for four years as the Administrative Assistant and Registrar and the Assistant to Gilda Bonnet at the Montessori Children’s Community. In 2010 Kyla moved from the Children’s Community to the Montessori Training Centre where she currently holds the position of Administrator and Financial Aid Officer. Her many years of experience as a legal assistant and her enjoyment of advocating for young children are now being directed full time in an administrative capacity.

The Directress for the Montessori Children’s Community
Sepideh Andalib completed her Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature, and Masters’ Degree in Library Science at the University of Tehran and later completed her AMI Primary Training at the Montessori Training Centre of BC in 2001. Following her teacher training she went on to work at a local Montessori school for four years. From 2005 to 2009, she worked at the Montessori Training Centre of BC as the Course Assistant for the Primary Teacher Training Program. In 2009, Sepideh returned to Tehran to be with her family and in 2015 Sepideh returned to BC to join the Montessori Children’s Community as the Directress.
The Class Assistant for the Montessori Children’s Community
We are very pleased to announce that Rubi Zendejas Mason is joining the staff at the MCC as the Class Assistant. Rubi came to Canada in 1997 from Mexico, where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Psychology and Pre-school Education. Having met her husband, she immigrated to Canada in 2006. Rubi completed the Montessori Assistants course with Eduardo Cuevas in 2008 and the Montessori Assistants to Infancy Course in 2010. She has had several years of experience working as a Montessori Class Assistant. Rubi’s lovely daughter Frida is now continuing her Montessori career in a Primary class, leaving Rubi eager to return to the classroom.
Administrator – Montessori Children’s Community
Kristina Yang is a graduate of the AMI Primary Training and AMI Assistants to Infancy Training from the Montessori Training Centre of BC. She is a certified Infant Massage Instructor and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Economics from the University of British Columbia. Kristina has worked as a primary guide, Assistant to Infancy in a Montessori Parent-Infant Program and a Course Assistant for The Montessori Assistants to Infancy Teacher Training Program. To have 28 children registered in our program for the Pilot Project, we are required to have a third person on the premises for emergencies. Kristina will fill the role of the Third Person.
